Who is a Real Estate Broker and How is a Broker Different from a Real Estate Salesperson?

To become a licensed Real Estate Broker, you must have worked full time for a minimum of two years as a Salesperson, three or more years of equivalent experience in the real estate business, or a combination of both, in addition to the broker’s course of study, before you can obtain your broker's license. If you are new to this industry without prior related experience, the Salesperson course should, instead, be your first course of study.
