STATEMENT OF POLICY

Background:

The RealEstateAcademy.com is approved by the NY Department of State for the purpose of offering the Independent Study courses.

Requirements for Completing the Course:

To complete the course and receive your Education Certificate, you must successfully complete the following requirements:

  1. Complete ALL lessons online by answering each question correctly at least twice. Most questions are timed and need to be answered within the prescribed time for credit.
  2. Return your Certification Statement to the school.

Grading

Grading for all courses is Pass/Fail. Students must answer all questions correctly in order to receive a passing grade.

Certification

Upon completion of a course, you will receive an Education Certificate. In the event the certificate is lost, a duplicate may be obtained from the RealEstateAcademy.com offices by written request. An administrative fee may be charged for the duplicate.

Course Completion

All courses must be completed within six months from date of purchase or from date of re-enrolling.

Recruiting

No recruiting for employment opportunities for any real estate brokerage firm is allowed in this class or on the school premises. Report promptly any effort to recruit by anyone to the RealEstateAcademy.com Director at 212.262.2662.

Non Discrimination

The RealEstateAcademy.com will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, handicap, or familial status in the establishment of fees, entrance qualifications, or standards for successful completion of any course.

Returned Checks

Any student who has a returned check due to insufficient funds will be assessed a service charge.

Refunds

Live Pre-Licensing Courses
No refund will be given once you have attended a class. You will not receive a refund for any books and/or course materials received. Upon written request, a check will be mailed to you within 7 business days. There is a $25 registration fee for the cancellation of any course within 60 days and $50 if more than 60 days. If the request is made 90 days after registration you will only receive a school credit that will never expire. There is an additional $75 cancellation fee for all other courses canceled less than 10 business days prior to the course. There will be a $25 returned check fee.

On-line Courses
Refunds up to 30 calendar days after the date of enrollment as defined herewith:
For course(s) "Not Started" - Full refund
For course(s) "In Progress" - Partial refund
For course(s) "Completed" - No refund
Students that are asking for a full refund for the complete package must return all textbooks, in their original condition. All refunds must be approved by Esther Muller. Only the authorized school contact, not the student, is authorized to contact the Course Provider support team to authorize the refund to the student.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE OR CREDIT GIVEN AFTER THE THIRTY-DAY PERIOD HAS EXPIRED.
